It’s hard to believe, but graduation is right around the corner - November 22nd to be exact. Yesterday our team presented our capstone project on the challenges of incorporating sustainability into product development and we are done with all the deliverables required for graduation. The last two years have been intense, but well worth the hard work.

It has been nine months since I started this blog writing under the pseudonym “speaker”. The purpose of speakhead.com is to provide me with a creative outlet to write about my personal experiences as I implement tips and techniques from experts in the field of Personal Productivity.

speakhead.com is all about my personal commitment to a life-long continuous learning process to make a better “Me”, and in doing so hopefully passing on some of my passion, learning and leads to others to make a better “We”.

I’m ready to drop the pseudonym and introduce “speaker” as Salil Athalye from Pittsford, NY.

I’ve been reading through the EverNote user manual to learn more about this tool. EverNote has a concept called Keyword Categories. You can create new categories and specify rules for each category. For example, I could create a category called GTD and specify that  a note belongs to this category if the keywords “GTD” or “Getting Things Done” or “David Allen” appear in the note. Actually, EverNote provides rich semantics for specifying these rules. Now your notes can be dynamically categorized
based on the rules you have specified.

It was bound to happen! It has, and will happen to the best of us. I’m talking about the gradual realization that you are falling off the GTD Wagon. This week I’ve been reading some interesting articles. Jason at BlackBeltProductivity.org has been writing about how GTD is a discipline:
